Turnaround times are the number of days it takes to produce your product and get ready to send out to you.

The standard turnaround for most items is 5/6 working days and there are many items that can be completed in a day or two.

Turnaround options will be detailed in the product detail.

We offer several options for delivery.

Courier – Most courier services will operate a 2-day delivery service but often achieve a “next-day” level of service.

Hand Delivery – Some items, depending on location, will be hand delivered by ourselves.

Collection – You may choose to collect your item from our Print Depot.

Absolutely. In many cases we can let you know when your product is ready so that you can visit us to collect it personally – This will also save you money on delivery costs.

Unfortunately not.

Most commercial grade printing machines use paper stock that is not generally available in your local stationers.

Papers are selected for their ease of use in these machines. The wrong material could easily damage a machine or at least delay the project which increases production time.

Absolutely Yes.

If you want to create your own artwork, that is perfectly fine. Make sure to save your artwork as a high-quality pdf.

There are a few basic rules to follow such as – Keep text away from edges. Don’t overload the artwork with too much information. Create the artwork in the size you want it printed. When using images, always use high resolution versions.

The photographs you take and save to your mobile phone are generally, perfectly adequate for most printing purposes.

Whenever you are creating artwork or sending images to a Graphic Designer or Printer, make sure it is these original images you have captured on your mobile device.

When sending images, use email or a file transfer service such as WeTransfer.

Using Social Media or Messaging Service to send your image will result in the recipient getting a version that has been heavily reduced in quality.

In General, images on the internet may well be subject to copyright and you must check that using them is permitted.

With that in mind, it is always important to make sure that the quality of the image is suitable for printing.

Remember, when viewing the image on your phone or computer, it is often much smaller than what it will be when printing.

All images will appear more blurry and blocky, the larger you make it.

Choosing the right image resolution is important.

Print-Ready files are printable files that are suited to printing.

These are generally of higher quality than artwork you may use for internet based tasks.

When using some of the online programs such as Canva, make sure to save your work in the highest-resolution you can. Usually, it will have an option for “Print-Ready PDF”

Make sure that when you create your artwork that it is done in the actual size you want it printed. This helps you determine proportions throughout the artwork. For example, if you want an A3 Poster – start by creating a page size of A3 (420mm x 297mm)

Bleed and crop marks are those funny looking marks around you artwork in a Print-Ready File. They are needed to ensure a clean, professional finish after printing and cutting. The bleed is the part where your artwork background extends the design slightly beyond the final trim size so that tiny cutting shifts don’t leave unwanted white edges. Crop marks are the cross-hair type marks that act as precise guides for where to trim the paper, ensuring each piece is cut to the correct size and alignment.

PDF is the standard File Type used for printing are high-quality PDF files. They also make sure that your artwork stays exactly as you have created it.

JPG or PNG files can also be used, but it is important to ensure that the resolution is suitable for the finished print size.

Image resolution is important in printing because it determines how sharp, detailed, and professional the final output looks. High-resolution images contain more detail and print clearly without visible pixels (blocks) or blurriness, while low-resolution images can appear fuzzy, blocky, or distorted when enlarged on paper. This is especially true in high-quality print formats like brochures or posters.
